Spread the message to our writery friiiiends. [16 Jul 2007|03:42pm]

As I said, my fellow Singaporean F-listers... DO YOU WANT...

MONIES?

Here's a message from my friend who's searching for some!

Okie , like I mentioned just now, I’m looking for a bunch of writers for this lifestyle portal. The topics to write about should be given to writers by us or our clients; there will be a writer’s fee for each article.

Some details:

1. Lifestyle portal articles (i.e. shopping, dining, leisure/entertainment related articles)
2. approx 30 writers needed, cos will need the articles to come in till end of the year (about 360 articles in total, so 30 x 12 articles)
3. All styles of writing are welcomed

I asked my friend and she said it should be able to be done without going into offices or whatever, like they send info and then you write an article and send it back... and VOILA. Monies!!

PLEASE COMMENT ME and help spread to our writer friends! You can also ask questions and I'll help ask too!

for the aspiring movie maker [11 Jun 2006|02:13am]

Has anyone heard of what's going to happen in June next year?

Apparently they're going to launch a National Scriptwriting Writing Month in June next year, as I'm sure you can guess. The aim is to write a movie script in one month, which should be quite interesting. Chris Baty won't be in charge; someone else, one Kristina Malsberger, will be. I don't know who she is, but apparently she's directed at least one film before.

It'll be slightly different from NaNoWriMo, at least in the sense that collaboration will be encourage. The article doesn't give much more than that. The website is due up soon, and it'll kick off only next year. Full article here, on the NaNo website.

Anyone interested? I certainly am.

Sorry that i didn't stick in an entry for a long time, but i had to juggle studies and emotional stress. Now, however, i find that life is meaningless after being rejected. I wrote a poem instead of a story, to get rid of my frustrations. I feel like committing suicide, and still have to fight the ghosts of her. You guys are lucky, able to get an insight into the head of a rejected teenage male...
From the mind of the rejected
I walk this empty bridge, alone,
The inky night clamps its fingers at my throat,
Suffocating me, I can’t breathe,
The dark waters distort my image,
I see myself from her eyes

Rejection is a whole new direction,
Can I turn back time one last time?
The tears of God empathises with me,
My life is now back to being ordinary

I drink the tears of my soul,
I self-inflict pain that I feel,
I’m still lost in your eyes,
Now I weep through the night,
Waking up screaming,
Where did I make my mistake?
How much more heartbreak can I take?

My shattered heart bleeds,
You can’t break me no more,
My dreams, hopes, will, fortitude,
All lost in the sands of time,
Never to be regained alone

Will I end this half life?
A life with no goals?
Dreamless, hopeless,
The road I walk now seem endless

If life was a long path,
Rejection makes me lost,
I was hoping the paths would cross,
But all I see is a lonely walk to the end

Listlessly I watch the swirling waters,
A battle raging through my mind,
Emotion on logic, Suicide on survival,
I can’t decide

Lucifer infuses me to hate,
God induces me to forget,
But uncontrolled by either, I continue pining,
I can’t hate, and I won’t forget you

My route is now confused,
I’m hurt,
Sorrowed,
Worried,
Agonized.
I’m falling into an eternal abyss,
I smile at the irony of my ending

I still have my doubts, my insecurity,
To my heart you still hold the key,
I fell into a pitfall I’m trapped inside,
Endless fall into the darkness of depression,
Will you give me a chance?
Be my escape?
